divide/unite
What do you do when you wake up and realise the life you are living is not your own? When your true nature threatens the role you’ve been given?
Obedience versus disobedience. Control versus chaos. Simplicity versus complexity. Friend versus enemy. Whore versus virgin. These illusions serve to divide. But our unity is there just beneath the surface.
Echoing the descent into the underworld of Inanna, Jennifer draws contemporary parallels as these stories of the heroine’s journey weave their way, although largely hidden, through millennia. However the lessons once shared can give power to those experiencing their own physical and internal world division.
We are not alone.
United we stand. Divided we fall.
