And they became the colours of the land, sea and sky

Through movement and music I co-create with water, watercolour and gouache, allowing organic forms, portraits and landscapes to emerge intuitively from the depths of my subconscious.

Intimate and enigmatic, my small watercolour and gouache studies are a synthesis of memory, stories and hidden connections with the natural world, they live and breathe as their own moment in time but also serve as inspiration for my oil paintings. Working on several pieces at a time I work quickly forming, destroying and reforming until each piece finds its resting place.
