Ethereal and jewel-like, I paint with with light to reveal what lies beneath. In a nurturing and almost ritualistic process of creation and destruction, multiple layers of glazes blurring the boundaries between the human self and the natural world. Inspired for my longing for an escape from the city back to the hinterlands where water, land, light and ancestors flow in and out of each other.
